a new neighborhood brings new people, new sights, new sounds, new smells and lots of new dogs.
sophie the puggle has made friends with lucy, a black and white border collie.
lucy makes a bee line right for us if she is being let outside.
they love to play together.
lucy even comes inside and helps herself to everything.
sophie just jumps all over her.
then there's lily, a golden retriever, she's a people dog, not a dog's dog.
she keeps trying to get to me to be petted, but sophie keeps wanting to play.
lily doesn't want puppy play time she's a person pet me kinda pup.
sweet as can be.
then there's bricks, a french mastiff puppy, he's HUGE and a puppy
sophie walked under him with no problems.
he's so well trained, but he couldn't resist playing with sophie
he was so excited; of course his owner was upset.
he has worked hard to train bricks to obey
and you know sophie, she just egged him on to play.
then there's maximus, a shih tzu puppy, the very opposite in size to bricks
looks like a little rabbit or furry ball walking around
at first he'd shake when sophie sniffed him but now he's a little bit bigger
and i really do me a little little bit bigger
he loves playing with sophie, for once sophie is the big dog here and i think she likes it
then there's gizmo, the chihuahua, he's big and tough, at least in his mind
he gives sophie the whole me man dog you woman dog show
he puffs out his chest, kicks up some dirt and sniffs her butt
sophie takes it all in stride
then there's bruiser, a boxer, he's so sweet
he and sophie played and then lied down and he began to lick her ears
which was addorable, bruiser gets so excited to see her
and she runs right to him
there are many more dogs in the neighborhood but these are the ones she's played with the most.
she never seems to lack for company.
sophie the puggle love her new home and all her new 4 legged neighbors.
I have bi-polar disorder II and borderline personality disorder. This is sometimes called being Tri-Polar. I write because it makes me feel better.

Catching Up
A breakup, a heat rash all over my belly, back, and ass, a pit bull attacks Sophie the Puggle... that was all in a week's time.
I've been recovery ever since.
My heat rash required staying out of the sun, there goes boosting my vitamin d, using benadryl, and trying not to itch.
benadryl, might as well be pot for me. it stones the hell out of me. i sit there and stare out to space drooling then eating, but i don't itch!
i'm still all broken out and i go to take sophie the puggle for walk and a neighbor's pitbull charges her and i pick sophie up to get them separated. the pit bull never bit, i think it was more about intimidation and submission, but poor sophie was freaked out. i got all scratched up on top of the heat rash. i hurt for days.
the owner apologized profusely. i did not call it in because the pit never bit, but i told him if one of the kids was walking sophie this would have been very bad. he said they'd more careful with her. their apartment door was open and they were going in and out when she saw sophie walking by and attacked. i kicked the pit to break it up, but it did not work. picking up sophie to break up the attack was the only thing i could think of, thankfully it worked!
work has been crazy, i will be in the office most of next week.
my kid started her job and is complaining, but reality is here. she can't stay in school forever, we can't afford it at all.
b. and i are talking. we are going to be friend's. my co-worker was messing with me on alot of stuff, just making crap up to get a rise out of me. he's like that. i don't like it when people play with other's emotions. i love b. and he loves me and it just got so messed up because other people messing with us. so we are talking and being friends and just caring about one another. he's not my boyfriend anymore, but he's still so much fun to be with.
it's funny how much time we spend planning our lives and then out of nowhere one little thing changes everything and all those plans are destroyed.
flexibility and adaptability are critical in this life!

Post Funeral Caffiene Withdrawal
what a long long weekend.
we went to dad's thursday night so we could head to TN first thing Friday morning.
Meemaw's funeral was on Saturday.
My brother got lost because he insisted on going thru cincy instead of following dad and us through indy.
he showed up 3 hours later then we did.
he missed the turn in bowling green for 68.
every one asked him how his uncle jerry shortcut was.
he went to nashville and almost to memphis.
on the way home he followed dad, i drove sunday morning cuz he takes meds and my neice isn't a morning person.
he started talking about cutting over to cincy once we hit louisville.
i told him i wasn't driving thru cincy, if he wanted to do that i was getting back in dad's car and he was on his own.
that shut him up.
you'd think he would have learned after the way down there.
saturday was crazy.
my uncle's dog nearly killed my brother's dog.
aunt polly and my cousin jody got into it over meemaw's bible.
aunt polly had a meltdown.
i had an over zealous hugging cousin.
he hugged me so tight i heard something pop.
we went to mcdonald's and ronald was there, i hate clowns.
he got up in my face and i froze.
my dad went, bud, she hates clowns.
he went i'm not a clown.
my kid went, just back off.
and he did finally.
we sat where i couldn't see him.
you'd think if you were told someone doesn't like you you'd take the hint.
this clown was obnoxious.
i fucking hate clowns!!!!
i cried so hard at the graveside service.
just looking at the silver casket drove it home.
meemaw is with God and Jesus now.
if anybody was going to heaven it was Meemaw.
she was so strong in her faith and devotion to God.
i wish i could be more like her.
i got to make some changes.
life can be so much more then what i'm doing with it.
the preacher said if there's a wall or fridge in heaven,
he's sure Meemaw will have our pictures up on it in no time.
we went back to meemaw's and told stories and watched old videos.
it was great to see my family.
i even laughed so hard i pee'd myself a little.
of course, gab had to tell everyone.
but that's just more to laugh at.
for the most part we get along pretty good.
my aunt jenny doesn't think i'm bi-polar,
she is a professional in such matters.
my kid said stand next to her long enough and you'll catch a mood swing.
my aunt jenny admitted she hasn't been around me alot to determine it,
but she hoped i'd be okay.
i told her i take it one day at a time and exercise helps.
sunday was 11 hours in the car.
i think i did good driving my neices car.
i only got anxious over the bridge in louisville.
the other bridges i couldn't see because of the fog.
it's the thought of going off the bridge and falling into the water that freaks me out.
i just don't want that long drop into the cold water.
it's too much.
now it's back to normal.
i drank dt. pop non stop since thursday.
so it's back to no pop.
and losing the 3 pounds i've gained this past week.
i've had a headache since tuesday.
caffiene withdrawal will not help it.
the world seems duller without meemaw praying for my soul.
i love you meemaw.

Kitties everywhere!
i could not get sophie to come in this morning. when i took her for her 9am walk i found out why, kittens!!!!
it took all my strength to keep her from them. the momma (a calico) and the poppa (tiger yellow striped) watched me and the dog very carefully from under my neighbor's boat.
they had the kittens under my other neighbor's trailer, not so smart, since he moves that for work. he had to have seen them this morning, but he's not an animal person, so he probably ignored them.
i was afraid to touch the kittens, i know sometimes if a human touches them the mother will abandon them. it's been an hour now and i looked out the window and 3 out of the 5 have been moved. i did go out and move the remaining two from out of the hot sun to under the boat. i hope the momma cat moves them. i think they are approx. 2-3 weeks old, the eyes are open, still blue, and the ears aren't fully up yet. they can move around but just a little.
sophie the puggle is keeping a very close eye on the situation. she is a no nonsense dog when it comes to those kitty cats.

Day 19 of no tv challenge
life is good. tv is so not necessary to every day living. now i need to bring my kid around to that and i can save $50 a month. now giving up the dr. pepper not so easy. we went one day and my kid comes down stairs and says she's got a headache from all the days without soda pop. i had to point out to her it had been less then 24 hours since we last had some pop. she's like that's it and i was like yup!!!
i have begun the no soda pop challenge fresh this morning. after sleeping the entire weekend with brutus the english bulldog and sophie the puggle, i am sleep deprived. i had a 4 hour round trip drive back home for my baby cousins 4th birthday and needless to say i needed the soda pop to stay awake to drive.
i did not know an english bull dog made so much noise. there are sounds that i have no idea how to describe. he even made a noise that sounded like the velociraptors in jurassic park!!! but he's so cute doing it!!! at one point, at 2AM sophie popped her head up, looked at him and looked at me, like shut him up! we all got up and took a break outside. every night he stayed with us we got up at least twice between midnight and 7am.
last night was the first night we didn't have him since thursday and sophie and i were out by 9:30 and we didn't get up once!!!
dogs are cute for a reason, it's so we don't give up on them when they drive us crazy, it's all part of God's plan :) or the Dog's plan????

Adventures in Dog Sitting
Brutus the english bulldog has joined us until Sunday. He is so ugly he is cute. I've been humped, scratched, licked, nibbled, and nose rubbed. He's whizzed on one of my flowers outside so much the leaves are weighted down to the ground with puddles on them. I think I'll let that mess evaporate in the heat. Can you febreze outside?
He's too funny. He keeps sniffing our puggle, Sophie. He keeps running into the walls. He makes so many noises. Snorts, grunts, sniffling, snotting, and some I can't even describe. Great, now Sophie has decided she like his very expensive all natural food and is eating it!
Sophie even had to sniff the bird seeds this morning to see if they were something she wanted to eat and they weren't. She was throwing a fit because I was feeding the birds and not her.
What is he doing now? I think he has an itch but can't reach it. He's trying to get to his hind quarters but his head is too big. I think his head weighs like 7 pounds. He's staring at me now. Well I'm off to figure out how to scratch Brutus' itch. I'd never do this for a man. That is for darn sure!
I think this is going to be a long weekend!

Damn that Diane Sawyer
My heart aches for the people of Japan. I have been following things using the internet to avoid tears. I made the mistake of checking in on the evening news with Diane Sawyer, and damn it, they were in the middle of a piece on Japan and the rescue efforts. I was holding it together until the part about the dog running to rescue workers and bringing them back to another dog that was injured. I lost it! My dog looked at me like I was nuts, which I am. I just couldn't keep the tears in check any longer, Diane's voice seemed haunted. Damn that woman!!!
Again, my heartfelt and deepest sympathies for the people of Japan!

All thru the house a dog was pacing,
