my kid is definitely going back to school in september!!!
what good news for her and me!
she got her acceptance letter for her program and next friday she takes her placement test.
we send in her deposit for a dorm room tomorrow!
i will have a calm quiet and peaceful house when september ends.
i am feeling better today, but still did not sleep well.
lots of up and down and my left side still hurts.
i only walked one mile yesterday.
i'm going to push for two miles today.
my couch gets fixed today, yipee!!!
life is good.

finally headache free
Thank GOD!!! Woke up this Sunday morning headache free at 4AM sneezing my head off. I guess whatever was stuck up in my head came out my nose. totally gross and disgusting, but what sweet relief.
the weather is going to be sweet today. i think i'll take Sophie to the dog park this afternoon. I can't over do it or my headache might come back, but she's such a good pup. She loves seeing all the birds out. She gets so excited and forgets she's attached to me via the leash and nearly yanks my arm out of the socket to chase them birdies.
she's so silly, thinking she's a bird dog, when i know she's a couch laying, pizza eating, squeaky ball dog!
got my fingers crossed i am on the road to recovery!!!

sweet internet you are back
the wireless router crapped out. after spending way too long with the support on the phone, i just called and asked for a new wireless router. the guy came this morning and tried to fix the old one but agreed it was a lost cause, so now i have a new wireless router and I AM BACK online!!!

Of course not, no one reads the shit I write. But I take no offense, well, at least today I don't, tomorrow it might just hurt my feelings. but in this very second of this very moment I am doing okay.
I walked the dog. Work wasn't too busy. Life is good. Tomorrow is pay day. the kid wants to get advance tickets for the twilight 3rd movie midnight showing, which means i'll have to take a nap, but i will probably still fall asleep during the movie. i don't find twilight to be very stimulating. i just don't. i couldn't even make it through the books. i got my daughter's 4th book and read the last 2 chapters. It's cheating, I know, but it's how I roll.
so life is good today. and i really can't ask for much more then that.
